Just a quick note: I was interviewed for an article about marshmallows last month and it appeared in the Baltimore Sun food section today. Read the online version here. It was actually a lot of fun, the reporter and photographer came to my house to interview me and document the marshmallow making process. There's even a how-to photo gallery of me making the marshmallows.
What a fun article-- I dug the original out of my paper when I saw your post. And the big photo on the front of the section makes your marshmallows look sooooo tasty!
ReplyDeleteGood for you!!! What a great article! Enjoyed the document on making marshmallows also. I started making my own marshmallows last year, will never buy them again. No comparision. Will give the green tea version a try, sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteI just read the article and had to come online to tell you that it was great to read about you. I would have never thought to make my own marshmallows either. This might be a fun spring break project to do with the kids.
ReplyDeleteVery cool! The finished marshmallows look amazing.
ReplyDeleteYay! Congratulations on the article. That was great! Those marshmallows look yummy!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the article, Rachel, and I love the picture of you holding the plate of marshmallows. You know, my mother-in-law made home-made marshmallows for Easter last year and sent them to us in a care package. My husband has been raving about them for the last 11 months, so I hope we another little package soon! If not, I feel secure knowing I can follow your recipe.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool- almost as cool as making your own marshmallows from scratch! I am impressed!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! What a wonderful article. And I've been thinking about marshmallows lately--specifically, figuring out if it's possible to make them sugar-free, or at least lower glycemic-index. I know, it's blasphemy... but when you're diabetic, you have to do what you have to do!
ReplyDeleteThey're wonderful! I had some in my cocoa!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool! Congratulations :)
ReplyDeleteI am definitely trying that marshmallow recipe.
Nice article! I think the marshmallows you gave me were from that same shoot and they tasted every bit as good (maybe even better!)than they looked.
