1 1/14 lb very lean ground beef
3/4 cup crumbled Stilton
1/4 cup chili sauce
1/4 cup thick Worcestershire sauce
freshly ground black pepper
thin slices of red onion
thin slices of tomato
4 hamburger buns
Prep your grill. In a medium bowl, use a gentle hand to combine all ingredients. Divide the mixture into four equal parts. Pat in to patties. Spray or grease the grill rack. Grill until desired doneness. Serve on buns with thinly sliced tomato and red onion.
My husband has become obsessed with Stilton lately. I mostly blame Chef! but also Costco which has been getting in some pretty good cheese lately. It is hard to resist affordable, tasty cheese! The only problem is that once you buy a Costco sized cheese, you have to use it up. So I’ve been putting Stilton into everything. Luckily, it is pretty versatile. It melts suprisingly well and peppered this burger with little bits of cheesy goodness. I kept the rest of the burger simple so the Stilton is the star but it is a juicy, flavorful burger through and through.
This would surely hit the spot, yummy.
