1 1/3 cups confectioner’s sugar
1/3 cup cocoa
4 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Add cocoa and stir constantly, until it begins to boil. Cool completely. Add confectioner’s sugar alternately with milk to cocoa mixture, stirring with each new addition. Continue to stir until smooth. Stir in vanilla and combine throughly. Ices one 13×9 cake or about 15 cupcakes.
