Alabama White BBQ Sauce

Ingredients:
2 cups, mayonnaise
1 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
¼ teaspoon granulated garlic
1½ tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
2 teaspoon kosher salt
¼ teaspoon ground cayenne pepper

Directions:
Whisk together all ingredients in a bowl until well blended. Scrape into an air-tight container. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Makes about 2 1/2 cups.

My thoughts:

Whenever I am in Alabama I pick up some of their unique white barbecue sauce. Recently I ran out of my last bottle so I finally decided to make my own. Luckily, it’s super-easy! There are a lot of variations, but this is the one I liked best.

In Alabama I see it most often on chicken, but I also like it drizzled on pulled pork and as a dip for my French fries.
